KTM 500

Anyone knowledgeable on the big 2 strokes? There is one for sale on criagslist and the guy says it is a 99 model. But doing an internet search I can only come up with 95 and back, same with parts on ebay..Did they make a 500 in 99?? I had a '87 years ago and it was a wonderful bike-TONS of torque and hard hitting top end..

My KTM bike info (parts lists) only go up to 1992.
My 1991 & 1992 parts lists show that that made both a 500 and 550cc (type 565), water cooled 2 stroke.

Is that the one in Lubbock? Perhaps a vin will help pick out the correct year. One you tube video calls it a "man bike", are you ready?
