I am sad to pass on the I just got word that Dave Bettencourt past away.  I know we discussed his auction last year.  All of the Bettencourts are just Motocycle and Racing people.  Dave as well as his Brother John will continue to leave a void in the Motorcycle Community.

I purchased my JP from Dave at his auction last year, boy he had some stories to tell. My CRF proudly displays a Bettencourt's Honda sticker on the rear fender. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Here is a good read:

He will be sorely missed at all the flat track races up here in the Northeast. The Bettencourts had to be sponsoring 15 guys + at any race and also promoting the Brocton 1/2 mile.  I could write a short story of all the things I've watched him do for children and racing...
