fin rubber plug installation

any ideas on how to best reinstall the rubber silencer plugs om ktm cylinder fins? i did a search and couldn't find much. recently had some fins fixed and i want to put the plugs back in. i'm sure that i can figure it out but i thought i might ask for a quick tip form anyone who has done it.    jerry
