Mike,

I tried sending an email through the message board but I don't believe it worked.

I'm wondering if you are the Mike Lenz that raced a Montesa VR250 in 1973/74/75?  My parents owned a Suzuki and Montesa dealership in Lake Zurich, IL named Chris Distributors.  We later sold the business to Midwest Action Cycle.  

I saw the name and had to ask.

Well this is a wierd one.  I raced in Illinois in those years on Penton's, with a short time on a maico in 250A and open class. Never ran into another Mike Lenz?? In 73 and 74 I rode for Buck's Cycle out of Valpo IN and in 75 DuPage Cycles, out of Lisle, IL. Wasnt Lake Zurich near where the Abt brothers, Steve and Alex, were from?  Did you know of them?
