looking for a Hi Point or other metal tank for my 1975 Penton 250.  It is a daily rider and I just had my current tank get soft on me..it does not have to be that pretty.. I honestly do ride the bike to work a few days a week and need a tank that can stay fueled
thanks

Drain the tank and let it dry, it should go back to normal. Then send it to Mike Winter and have him POR it. That should help in the short term, or maybe the long term if what Mike says is true.

Hey Joe I think there is a Hi Point enduro tank on ebay now but at a whopping price if I remember right. Great that you ride to work on a Penton! If you have a chance to post a pic of your commuter that would be nice. Regards, John

I will probably send you a few tanks.  I saw the tank on E-Bay.. a little too much for the quality. That would be the tank I am looking for at a little more reasonable price..
thanks

Looks like seller entertains offers. Who knows if you throw in one for what it is worth maybe he will surprise you and take it!:):)
