access to VMD?

Got my weekend tickets for Vintage Days, plus camping pass.  The folks at Mid-Ohio tell me that although Vintage Days do not officially open until Friday morning, that they start letting people in on Thursday night.  Can anyone verify?

This true. They open the gates for camping Thursday afternoon.
