I want to express my feelings to the Penton Owners Group and all the POG members especially Paul Danik President of POG and Conrad Pfeifer the expert writer on the article. The article about Paul and I riding in the l969-l970's was in our prime time.

I was practically "over the moon" when I received the Summer 2010 Newsletter on the cover showing my front wheel stand.  What a memory, seems like yesterday when life was easy and Murrysville was a short drive away from exhilaration plus nonstop excitement for the whole family.

I wanted to send a special note of thanks to the POG for featuring me in your Member Profile section and particularly both to you and especially Conrad for writing and sharing such factual and suspense filled article to include my past endeavors in the motorcycle industry.  It was truly a moving and emotional read for me personally and professionally. I am most appreciative of all the time and effort that was put into writing the article.  Both Paul and Conrad's personal experiences with me really added a special touch to the article, which I must admit made for a moving and emotional experience for me, personally.

The article was well-written and captured some landmark 'rides" and "races" that took me back for a moment...and allowed me the opportunity to re-live those memories in which I participated in M.C. events with wild anticipation..My love of the sport truly was reflected in your article, and I am grateful that the POG was able to convey that in the story.  Yes, you can call me "Crazy" anytime, for I feel it's in the blood that a true Motorcycle enthusiast will push the limit to accomplish and achieve what others have tried.

I must acknowledge JOHN PENTON as the founder of the Penton Motorcycles - that this club can exist today with our memories of our youth

             Sincerely,  "Crazy"  Jake Fischer

Jake,

You deserve the recognition and you will always be one of my riding heroes and all around good guy.  Ditto that for Paul as well.  Thanks for the memories from someone that will always be that youngman from Texas that idolized you Crazy Penton guys!

Jake,
You will always be one of the Top Riders on my short list.  Your shop is like the end of the Rainbow for Vintage Dirt Bike People.  Thanks again for all your help in my early days when we started bringing Vintage Pentons back to life and for your Great Rides that Paul has shared with me over the years.  Conrad did a great job...thanks.
