Sent you an email about the bike.

Bike appears to have low miles and original Metzlers, so it must have been parked for a long time just rusting away. It has Lucas lighting, front and rear... did Penton use Lucas as OE somewhere along the line???

I have seen worse.  I have seen better.  They all can be repaired to some point...  I have one which is in much worse condition (non-Penton Sachs motorcycle).   But they sure are F U N.  Isn't that what a hobby is about?  Which top end would be correct for this year Penton: cast iron or Aluminun?   joe

Tom, No OEM Lucas lighting used that I've ever seen. Nice bike.

Joe, No rear frame loop braces - weld on skid plate - steel chain guard - and short seat.
Although it has a wide loop front fender bracket. I say 1969 with a cast iron top end.

I don't know if the RH lower fork leg is correct. Does'nt match the LH side, and backing plate anchor tang seems too high
