Penton imported and sold a trials bike that was manufactured by Ted Wassell in England.  Ted Wassell  initially tried to get BSA Bantum engines for the machines but couldn't get the factory to supply them.  He then went to the Sachs engine. The Mudlark did not set any sales records and were modified into several "new styles" to hopefully move them out of the Penton inventory.  The "Cafe Motocross" and  "Woodsman" were slightly altered Mudlark designs.
Wassell named the machine the " Antelope", maybe if Penton had not changed the name it would have sold better in the land of "Road Toads".  Wassell also built a MX machine called the " Tyran". The most extensive coverage of Wassell's work that I have seen is in " The World of Motorcycles" encyclopedia volume 17.
If you check out the photo section of this site you will find some fine examples of the " Antelope".
