Understood. There does seem to be a scam going on down that way. On CL I found another MC5 in great condition for $1000. No Ph #. From Dallas. I sent numerous replies and nada. Then I saw it again in Lakeland, FL CL. Then I saw an ad purporting to sell many VMX bikes for low price because owner was "too old". Finally, when my suspicions were way up, another CL user posted an ad pointing to the earlier ad and saying it's a scam and that the scammer actually used the pics from other ads in the scam ad. In any case, the Miami MC5 for $500 appeared to be real. I spoke to the owner this AM. Alas....
