Hope all of you had a wonderful Easter, He is Risen !  Saturday I got to race one of my bikes. It felt great to be on a bike again, it has been a very long time. and Sunday was my birthday too.. what a great weekend.

our family received quite a Easter blessing on sunday.  our youngest grand-son (22 months) had open heart surgery last thurs to correct a potential life threatening defect. there was a 1 in 500 chance of paralysis and he was to be in pediatric ICU for a week and then more possible hospital recovery after that. anyway he was relaesed yesterday (Easter sunday) after just 4 days. to see him running around you would never guess that he had just had major heart surgery. nothing short of miraculous..   chi jer

Thank you Ron, I can hardly believe I turned 60. being off the bike for so long I worried I knew how to ride very well. so I waited until everyone was off the starting line and then I gave chase.. lets just say I did not finish last... against all of the +50 expert riders.. can't wait to do it again, now it is monday and I am still feeling it in my legs..
Jerry, that is really good new, Miracle, yes in deed. my grand daughter and her parents were in town for my Son's wedding. I took the occasion to hold her as much as possible..
