I am going to be mounting a Mikuni 32mm carb on our Jackpiner and have a question.

Are there any modifications needed to a throttle cable that is normally used with a Bing to make it work with a Mikuni?

If anyone has updated carb specs that would be great.

I have searched both topics.

Thanks,

I have done that conversion and usually it is just a matter of making sure the outer cable end fits into the Mikuni adjuster on top of the carb. I have run into adjusters on the Mikuni that were too small and needed to be drilled out to accept the cable.
Then all you have to do besides jetting is make sure that when you let the throttle go the slide returns all the way down to the idle stop screw, you can hear it hit. Then adjust the cable slack to approx 1/8" Then rotate the throttle all the way on and make sure the slide completely opens.
