After everything was said & done to aleviate the wipe open throttle condition when I missed a shift, it turned out to be a stator side crank seal. Thanks to all who helped.

That was my first guess. Glad you got is solved.

glad to hear you found the problem.. had the same thing happen on a maico.. but it turned out to be a base gasket..while I was in there I actually changed my deck height making the bike a little tamer.. I think it will help keep me from having wrist pin problems..
