Funny thing regarding suspension. I attended the Ormstown Vintage Festival, in Quebec a couple weeks ago. It was their largest turn out to date. Mick Andrews conducted a Trials school while we were there. I was thrilled to take part in it and enjoyed following Mick around and learning everything I could. There were some one on one lessons and when he was with me, the two things he said were; 1) My bars were way to high. (As Lew would know) and 2) My suspension was way to stiff.
It was a wonderful trip and the two day Trials event was great. I came in 3rd both days. And I had Helmut Clasen sign my helmet. He is still very fast on his Sachs. And he spoke very highly of you folks at POG. I was as excited to meet Helmut as I was Mick.
