  Just thought this was interesting and that some of you folks who don't follow the world of online auctions might enjoy seeing it...I had no clue where it would end.  Some of the prices that Johnny Borer reports at the POG meetings that some vintage helmets bring on eBay are staggering.....

That is staggering, but could you imagine what a helmet worn by John Penton would bring? (not that I think he would sell it)
