As a member, who often frequents this forum, I am impressed by the sincerity, devotion, and dedication of it's members who hold true to values, that are important to the quality of life in general. These are very trying times with the economy and the state of Washington that stir and yet invigorate emotions our Nation faces.
Being older, and still surviving, makes me feel very fortunate, perhaps a blessing? or to be at the right place at the right time.

Whichever it is, I do miss my Bro "Ron"

Respectfully,

Tom,

I am with you.  I miss Brother Ron as well.

I am guessing, but I am probably older than you and still surviving and fotunate to do so.  The younger generation has a huge mountian to overcome.  God Bless them.

Best Regards,

Tony Friedel

Tom,
I miss brother Ron as well, but he lives in Texas, I on the other had live in the state of Washington, sometimes known as the state of confussion.. I know Ron has had and I am sure continues to have health issues so if you think of him do pray..
In 2004 I had the great pleasure of finally meeting him, I have a picture of me and Ron and Tom McDermott. The first American to win a Gold medal at an ISDT. very cool.

I can't understand, why a person with such credentials, would suddenly dis-apeer. Reading his last post was an incredibale suggestion to include Doug W. into the "Hall of Fame" (AMA),
perhaps a "matter of the heart"
There is no doubt, that we are very fortunate to have POG members of a "caliber" that exibit credentials that include: own/race/restore a Penton Motorcycle, it all began with a "Dream". The "embers" are still there. They will ways be there..........

Brother Ron is still out there and still building Penton's, albeit at a reduced rate than in the past.  He is still pretty healthy and doing well.

He is one of my best friends and we communicate frequently.  For those of you who would like to communicate with Ron, do so via email and or phone, if you have his contact information.

As always, keep him in your prayers, just because he deserves it.
