Just returned from a fantastic weekend of training with Shane Watts (Dirtwise) and let me tell you, I learned a bunch.  Couldn't believe what we covered in two days.  My butt was tired when I got back home!  If you get a chance, attend a class, you will find out how much you don't know about riding offroad.  Just watch out for bees nests in the ground, I got a quick lesson I didn't expect![:0]  Shane is a fantastic instructor and amazing rider.

I've never done the class, but I know several people that have taken it at KTM World in Cedartown, GA and they all raved about it too. I want to take it, I dont care how fast you are or how long you have been riding everyone can learn something from a guy like Shane.

Kip, is the class designed for just the fast guys who want to compete or can an old goat like myself get things out of the coarse that will allow me to enjoy riding even more?

Rod,  Our class (20 riders) ranged from young kids, 1 female, to us old guys.  Very good riders to average riders like myself.  Amazing what Shane can teach in just two days as he is very serious about teaching and riding. I learned a ton and really need to practice a lot more (as soon as I replace my left radiator,my fault[B)]).  Check out some of the DVD's from his site, he seems as though he was born on two wheels. Give a class a try if it comes close, you'll be glad you did!

Thought I'd revive an old thread. I wanted to take his 2-day course this past year in Kalgary,TX and couldn't with work schedule. Shane doesn't have his 2013 schedule up yet but emailed that he is looking at the Dallas area for a spring class so I am going to try and be first in line.
