October POG meeting

Greetings,

   Hard to believe, but another month is on the horizon.  The October POG meeting will take place on Thursday October 4th.  We will be meeting in the KTM building, Amherst, Ohio, starting at 7 pm.

   Besides our usual meeting activities, we may be viewing a collection of photos that Al Born had preserved. These photos are being scanned and transferred at this time. There are more than 150 photos and they range from pictures of the proto model Steel Tanker, a KTM factory tour in 1972, the 1972 ISDT, Jack Penton on what looks to be the very special 250 that he campaigned on the national MX circut, and some other interesting photos.  We hope to get some additional information from the meeting attendees who may have been directly involved in some of the historic events pictured, should be interesting.

   POG VP Scott Brogan now has his pilots license, I wonder if the KTM parking lot is long enough..............
