I'm going to be replacing fork seals in my 74 35mm Cerianis, and the fork boots are starting to crack around the edges and need replacing.  The left boot has a brake cable guide as part of the molded rubber.  Has anybody got a pair of NOS or nice ones I could buy?

Unfortunately, Al's repro boots don't have the cable guide, or I would just buy his.

I don't think you will find them with the hoop for the cable. They have fork boots like that on Hercules forks and I could never find them for my bike. Any that are out there are NOS and guys are saving them for museum type restorations, and if they would sell one it will be for big bucks. No one doing reproduction boots is making them that way becuase you would need two molds, one for with and one for without.I would just make something to do the same job out of heavy wire, paint it black, and hold it on the fork leg with heavy black zip ties or the hose clamps if the boot uses those. Or keep a watch on evilBay for someone parting out a bike that has them and hope they are in good shape.

There's a guy in the UK called Terry Weedy who has had repros made. They're good and I use them on my '75 griffon. They have the cable lug. Google Terry Weedy products. If he doesn't sell to the US let me know. I'll buy them and ship them for you.

John, if you do, you might find quite a few people who would buy one.

Wow, just checked out the Terry Weedy site, beautiful petrol tanks! The trials tank is a perfect match for the Wassell trials if you need one! Awesome work this fellow!

John Collard sent me this pic of the Terry Weedy repros in the UK.  Looks very nice.
