POG members,

To rebuild a sachs motor there is a SPACER PLATE, part number: 0276019101. This Plate maybe different between the A and B engines since the crank webbs are different.

This Spacer Plate, if I understand is to place between the two crank webs for support so that when you re-install the inner main crank bearing races you do not risk moving the webs.  Often when shimming the crank bearings you have to take them on and off until the adjustments are to spec.

Does anyone have one of these tools for sale?  If not, does someone know the exact dimensions so I can reproduce one (length x width x thickness and the semi-circle cutout)?  Let me know.

One plate is the same for both cranks.  I got mine from Al

Thanks Kip.  I ordered one from Al.  I just assumed there were none with him, so a never thought to enquire.

Peter, I have a customer going to contact you about that extra "B" crank pin at Forest's.  He needs one to also finish a crank currently at Forest's shop. Thanks
