Don't be fooled by the color of the gas tank.  I have heard that there were red-tanked 100cc Pentons and red-tanked 125cc Pentons.   I had a green-tank 100cc Penton (1972 100cc A crank, 6 speed).    joe

The only difference between the 100 and 125 is paint color , cylinder, head and piston kit

Bidding has just begun, and up to $1750.  Is the Penton a 1971 model?   Seems to be mostly complete and intact.   Wonder if the engine turns over....  I noticed that is "also" needs O-rings on the steering head bearings.   joe

By the Frame number it is a 1969, but it has the aluminum cylinder and head?  So it has been updated over the years.  I have always liked the short seat....it is what we thought was a real racer back in the day!

Dale, the bike wasen't given away, but it was purchased by a friend of mine and now resides in Maryland.  The bike was/is a fine restoration.
