Clutch Cover Change

This is probably a stupid question .... but ....
I have a 1251/5A motor. I changed the clutch cover. Not sure what model the clutch cover came from. For some reason, I'm only getting four gears. I beleive 5th gear is missing. I had all 5 before the change. Any chance the change could have affected the gearing?
The bike also took a hard fall since the change, but since the change I never went through all the gears, since I only use 1st, 2nd and 3rd anyhow.

I would pull off the cover and see if the selector is hitting the cam stops.Something may have bent or moved when you fell.
