I have a PVL ignition and I want to take the lights off the bike for MX. Does the ignition need something drawing from it or will I be ok without lights?

Thx

Just unplug the lights, it will be fine.

Dale,

I was thinking about this after the fact, you said you had a "PVL" with lighting?  Did you mean "MZB"? I was not aware that PVL's had lighting coils.

Thanks,

Kevin

PVL doesnt have a lighting coil, must be an MZ-B or now its called Powerdynamo.

Sorry, yes, it must be an MZB.

Hi Dale, just be sure the 2 black wires from stator do not touch each other, or any ground. There is always AC voltage at these wires when engine is running.Your ignition will be fine with the black wires disconnected and insulated.
