New guy again more questions

First of all thanks a lot for the information.  From what you told me it seems I have a 75 250.It is the KTM engine.When I first got this bike about 3 years ago ,I got it running but it wasnt running very good. I know for a fact that it needs the carb rebuilt. When I first got it it would kick fine and felt like it had plenty of compression but now when I kick it there is no resistance. Any ideas.I sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I not familar with the mechanics of a motorcycle. Thanks a lot. Jquillen

It is a good probability that the rings are froze.   Being able to kick it is good.  Put some WD 40 or other penetrant in the plug hole and let sit awhile.
