Hi All, going to my first race in two years; hope the skills aren't TOO rusty!  I'll be riding my '75 Harescrambler and Jarrin will be riding his '01 KTM 125SX.  Trojan Raceway is located in North Webster, Indiana, and the races are 45-minutes long.  Racing starts at 9am, hope to see some of you there!  Bob Bean, what are you doing this weekend?!

Great day of racing with beautiful weather.  The Harescrambler ran flawlessly in two-one hour GPs.  I placed 6th of 11 in the +50 group and was the only vintage bike at the track.  Felt pretty good doing that well on a track with jumps and square-edged whoops created for and by modern bikes.  Lining up for the site lap in the first race there were 4-5 KTMs lined up next to me and a Yamaha pulled up between us.  One of the KTM guys said "Hey KTM only parking here!"  I asked if my bike qualified and he said "Heck yea, that's back when they were cool!"  Another guy looked and said "look at the size of those fins!"  People were looking and talking to me all day.

My son Jarrin took a 2nd on his '01 125SX and a boy from our church took the first win of his life, so a good day altogether.  Kevin Kline was there and won the +50 class on a modern KTM.  At least he had Penton graphics on it!
