Hi Poggers!

After very little arm twisting or negotiating, the good folks at the AMA, Gathr Films and even better, POG wants to bring the Penton film to Vintage Motorcycle Days to be shown outdoors on Saturday night July 12th.

The film will be FREE to all those attending and it's our belief that these people will go home and be great evangelists to start screenings in other towns after VMD.

If it looks like for sure rain, the film will be moved inside one of the big tents! I love contingency plans!

What makes POG so great is they are fronting all the costs to rent the special A/V equipment for the night. They hope to recoup some costs from donors and sponsors.

If any Poggers out there want to contribute to help make this happen please don't be shy. Any little bit helps go back in the kitty. Larger donations might get some signage on the screen before the movie plays' etc. (if you need a business expense).

Again, everyone is thrilled to bring this to some hard core fans who can help in the future.

Thanks for the support as always,

Todd

That is fantastic news, especially for those of us whose work schedules prohibit seeing the film until the CD's are distributed! Mike

It might also be a great opportunity to meet and talk with Todd if you have not done so already [8D]

Kip, I believe just sent payment to the POG Global Head quarters with a note that it's for the VMD Screening of the Penton Film. Right guys?

How do we donate?

Dale Fisher

Donations can be made one of two ways.  By mail send them to POG P.O. Box 1156. Brighton, Mi. 48116. Please include a note it is for the VMD John Penton Movie.  We will also be collecting donations at Vintage Motorcycle Days.  Go big?  A 15' x 20' screen an Blueray technology await your viewing experience [B)]

Googles optional and we'll be outside...  but the wow factor <priceless>

Last night in Charlotte, North Carolina, 106 fellow motorcycle addicts and I spent 135 of the best minutes of our lives enjoying the new motion picture PENTON-The John Penton Story.

It is an epic film, exceeding all of my expectations. Pipeline Digital Media (Todd Huffman and Donald P. Hoffman) have created a timeless masterpiece, akin to a cross between The World's Fastest Indian and On Any Sunday, which stirred unexpected emotions in me, bringing back many a fond memory.

Do yourself a favor, see PENTON: The John Penton Story.

Better yet, do as I did, host a screening by becoming a Gathr Films Movie Captain. Just go to: http://pentonmovie.com/host-a-screening/

You will find it a very rewarding experience.

Happy trails,

Al Roof

I am not sure exactly where the screen will be set up and the movie shown, supposedly the location is in the area of the road race course where the terrain will allow for easy relaxed viewing. Please start to pass the word about this viewing as we want as many VMD attendees to attend as possible.

Many folks, including myself, can recall exactly where they first viewed On Any Sunday, hopefully this outdoor viewing of the John Penton movie at VMD will provide those type of memories for many, many folks.

Any and all support for this presentation is greatly appreciated.  This opportunity came about rather quickly and it was either twist the throttle to the stop, or hit the kill button.......

Todd is working with the technical folks to get the best equipment available for our viewing pleasure, and he also plans to fly in for the event and personally oversee the presentation. Just can't thank Todd enough....

I just got off the phone with Connie Fleming from the AMA and man is she excited about the movie presentation on Saturday night. I told Connie that we are very thankful for her and the AMA's support of this showing...she replied that they are just as excited and appreciative as they have close to 5,000 folks who stay on the property at VMD, and now they will have entertainment..  Plus, Connie has arranged for a local entertainer to be on hand before the start of the movie to entertain the crowd till Todd gets the movie started.

Connie is also having several thousand movie info fliers printed and will have folks passing them out. They will also be keeping the refreshment stand in the area open as well. Looks like the viewing may take place near where the AMA tent is located, just before you go over the bridge to the infield, off to the right. The tent that we will use if it rains is right there as well.

Thank you Connie Fleming and thank you AMA...

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets....

Big thanks also to Larry Ward and The Two Wheel Power Hour for dedicating the first segment of his show last night to promoting the movie showing... He plans to do the same next Tuesday as well.

   Spread the word.....bring popcorn..:D

Paul

P.S. AND... THANK YOU Todd Huffman...we just can't say that enough!
