Just finished painting my first steel tank (Husky not Penton).  Made some mistakes, learned a lot.  One thing I would like to improve on is getting sharp edges when masking.  One side was better than the other because I did a better job of getting the masking firm, but I'm still not happy with the gold stripe around the knee rub area.  What do you guys do to ensure a nice, sharp, paint line?

Mick  I use 3M 1/4" blue striping tape.  That is what it was designed for.  They also sell 1/8" and I use it to serve as a guideline for doing the white and black pinstripes on the Steel Tanks.  Available at auto and paint stores.  Lines as sharp as a razor!
