Hi all,

Just a quick update. Links to all of the ISDT RR flyers/entry form are now posted on the TTR website //www.tulsatrailriders.com . As of today, I have received 6 entries for the RR and 2 entries for the dual sport ride. Plenty of banquet tickets are still available. The special discounted room rate at the Osage Casino Skiatook, OK (where the banquet will be held) is set to expire on Sept. 12, 2014 and there were several rooms still available last time I checked with them a couple weeks ago. I checked the mileage from the casino to the ranch and its an 11.5 mile drive which is about the same distance as the Sand Springs Best Western and Hampton Inn. If anyone has any questions please don't hesitate to call me at the number listed on the info flyer. Thanks !!

Wish I'd have known about you guys while I was living down there. I worked with a guy from Claremore named Brent that was a KTM rider, not sure if he rides with you guys or not. I was more into my old BSA's and riding on the street than riding on the dirt at that time. I still get down there every couple of years, I'll see if you guys are riding and I can bring the old KTM next time.
Cheers, Zap

Zap,
Yes, the Tulsa Trail Riders club has been around for a long time and sorry you didn't know about us when you lived in this area. TTR used to ride exclusively at the Zink Ranch but stopped holding events out there after the 1994 ISDE. TTR now owns, rides, maintains and holds our annual enduro on our 2280 acre public riding area just outside the small town of Scipio, OK which is about 18 miles northwest of McAlester, OK. We have received special permission to hold a few ISDT Reunion Rides out at Zink Ranch the past 10 years and its always fun to go out there and relive old memories. Please look us up at //www.tulsatrailriders.com and at //www.scipiotrails.org and if you're going to be in the area bring your bike and give Scipio a try.

Hi all,
Just wanted to post another update. The deadline for a special discounted room rate at the Osage Casino Skiatook, OK (where the banquet will be held) has been extended to Tuesday Sept. 16, 2014. I talked to the gal at the casino yesterday and she assured me they still have several single king rooms available for both nights on Oct.24-25th. They are completely sold out of double rooms on Sat. Oct 25th but have a couple double rooms available for Friday night only Oct 24th. I believe they also have one handicapped accessible room still available on both nights too. Best to call the hotel direct by using the info posted on the flyer to get your room. Hope this info helps. Also wanted to let everyone know that I've updated the event flyers on //www.tulsatrailriders.com to reflect that I'm bumping the key time up to 8:45am instead of the originally posted 9am. This will also affect the impound closing, riders meeting and etc all being moved up 15 minutes as well. Work on the course is progressing nicely and I was able to negotiate with the Zink Ranch to allow our club to add a few new trail sections that were not used in previous years. Also for an additional measure of safety, we have made a few changes to the previous trail system which moves the trail farther away from some of barb wire fences. There is a also a newly added link on //www.tulsatrailriders.com to a flyer about the dual sport ride set to take place on Sat Oct 25th. That should be a nice ride as well. In the coming days I will have the ISDT RR rules posted on the TTR website too. If you think you'll need a copy of the rules for the weekend, please print them off the website. This will save our club a few $$ by not having to put a copy of the rules in every rider packet. I plan to post a copy of the rules in the sign up area so they will be there for all to read if needed. To date I have 18 pre-entries for the RR and 5 for the dual sport plus 33 for the banquet. That's all for now and will post more as needed. Thanks for reading !!
