Hi,
Can someone answer my question?

I have a 6D motor with a Bing 84 carb; was this stock on the 125 or did someone change it?

Thanks,
Dan.

All the D engines I have had had a 28mm Bing that mounted on a rubber manifold.

Thanks Ron,

That's the set-up I have.
The carb is pretty dried out and dirty in the bowl. Does Bing make a rebuild kit or is there a limited amount that can be done other than cleaning?

Send it to Dan Vitaletti  at Vaporblast Solutions, LLC and it will come back shiny as new then install new gaskets and o-ring etc. which are available from Al Buehner on the suppliers page. Mike

I had a '74 1/2  with the GS motor.  I thought mine had 30 mm Bing. The bike weighed #20 more than an Elsinore and add another #20 of me and it needed that 30mm.

Dan,

You asked about the Bing 84 being the correct carb for the 6D powered Penton, it is what is on the machine I have sitting here and I know it is original. If others have different models of the Bing on their machines I am sure they will chime in. This link will provide much info on the Bing 84.

I tuned a monark gs pro with with a 32mm bing 84 on it.. also had 6mm cut off the piston (intake side) talk about dumping some fuel as the powerband hits!
