Anyone know where I can get the red connections that fit a Motoplat coil?

James,

You may want to shoot Vance Smith an email.  I know he has blue ones that fit the large motoplat coil spade connector well.  Perhaps he has red ones as well.

Thanks,

Thanks Kevin,

I did send Vance an email, but since he is in Florida, I am not sure how much access he has to his mail.  I don't care what color they are, I just want connectors that fit the coil.

Jim, I would try radio shack or an auto parts store. I'm sure they would have something to fit.

James,

Did you try Penton Racing Products, their contact info is listed in this website's Suppliers page. Their shelves are overflowing with product and possibly what you need is there waiting for you...:)

If I may add, Penton Racing Products is the sponsor of the AHRMA National Cross Country Series and it is always nice to support those who support our sport.

I found some a few years ago at a local (Baltimmore Area) electronics supply store.  In RED color and both sizes.

Hi Jim,  Moto Plat connectors may be hard to find at radio shack or an auto parts store. These special spade connectors are designed for motorsports to withstand a lot of heat & vibration. The wide spade connector on the Moto Plat is a 9.8mm double barrel crimp type. The narrow connector is 6.8mm. both wires are 18 gauge. You will need a special pliers to correctly install double barrel crimp style connectors. Please give us a call here @ Penton Racing. We have what you need.
