Went and saw it today. Good flic, updated for todays fans, mostly modern riders, but comments from the veterans. Google the movie and find out where it's showing. Take a friend or two.

Yep, saw it on opening night in Phoenix. Thought is was "ok" but not outstanding like the first one. Had a little piece on Mert but no Malcolm Smith (unless I missed it).
Thought the could have included some GNCC, ISTE,..... Maybe some Baja and hill climb .   A little less freestyle ( my opinion).   Although the movie was fun to watch.
Liked the Ashley Fiolek part.   Nothing will be as impactful as the original.  Doesn't hurt to have had Steve McQueen either - ha!

I just saw it tonight and agree with Jeff's assessment. Entertaining enough though that I'll probably buy a DVD. It's kind of fast paced and I'll have to watch it a couple times to really see everything. Making this updated version was probably book end opposite from the original. Bruce Brown shot every foot of film in the first one, and given the state of the sport at that time, I'll bet he was worried about properly filling in one and a half hours. Dana Brown probably had the opposite, with all of today's different types of action, he probably had to figure out what to leave out to get it down to one and a half hours. Dana made Dust To Glory, and since seeing both now, I think "Dust" is a more interesting movie and better executed.
  Type at you later,
