On November 28th our house caught on fire while all were away.  the cause may have been a lamp rather than a wood stove.  you can see the pictures on utube at "gofundme".

I have in the basement 2 125cc motorcycles, an un-restored six-day D motor penton, a cross-country model and a 1970 125cc sachs motorcycle with gas in it.  believe it or not, the fire started on the first floor and and of course goes up.  so the motorcycles in the basement were ok just covered with carbon and ash washed down from the first floor.  since i had been working in a shop 2 houses down since last january, my tools, 73 penton 125 race bike and a 71' rupp roadster2 i am restoring for my son were not harmed.

i still fine it increadable that the gas in the tank in the basement did not explode.  there was also a gas can with gas in it that did not ignite either.  it was a big loss as i was looking forward to more vintage racing with that 73 bike. we'll see.....

Todd, I was a movie backer and would like to know if you could re-send me another DVD of the John Penton Story and the poster I recieved as well??  Let my know.  thanks for your support.

Peter,
Very sorry to hear about the fire.
It was good to hear no one was injured and you can salvage your bikes.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Dan.
