125 6B Gear Selector Shimming

Happy Fathers day Guys .... looking in my Parts book it shows a shim on the seletor shaft  that goes between the clutch case and sits on the retaining ring of the selector shaft ..... the manual  dosent address this at all that I can find ... Question is  How do I measure this to adjust  for the correct shimming ... Thks BT

If it's the shims I think you are talking about you use a straight edge,Lay the straight edge across edge of case and shim on top of the retainer clip until flush with case.
