Does anyone have a real Sachs flywheel puller they would sell? I just tried the repro one I had and all the threads pulled out.

As you are tightening up the puller give it an occasional tap or two with a hammer.  It might help to pop it loose if it's been on there for awhile.

Hi Rick,
If you can tell me the exact size and thread pitch I may be able to help you out. I used to own a motorcycle shop and have lots of pullers.

The puller I had came off of ebay. The threads on the outside that screw into the flywheel are 26 x 1.5 mm and are what didn't hold up to the job. The internal screw was much smaller, maybe 12 mm. You only get three or four threads into the flywheel with the puller. The steel seemed very soft and when it failed left the flywheel threads intact. I did use penetrating oil and tapped on the end along with some heat. If I can't find a Sachs brand puller I will make my own.
