Is there any difference between the two pipes?  Where I going with this is wether a 125 gs would work on a 175 gs motor?

Pretty sure the manifold size is different  so that part of the pipe would be different but my old mind might remember wrong.

James give me a call, if it is for a 1977 Gs6 175. I will let you know.

1977 GS-6 has 4 separate pipe #'s listed in the chassis manual. 125 is 51.05.0070.500, 175 is 52.05.070.500, 250 is 54.05.070.500, and 400 is 55.05.070.500. If it is a 76 Cross Country, often referred to as a GS, there are also 2 different part #'s. 100/125, which is 51.05.070.400 and 175 52.05.070.100 and noted as interchangeable with 52.05.070.300, 250 is 54.05.070.400, and 400 is 55.05.070.400. The 2 exhaust flanges on the 76 Cross Country is different between the 100/125 and the 175, 100/125 51.05.073.00 vs 175 52.05.073.000 which differs from the 250/400 flange 54.05.073.000 according to the engine manual.
Good luck. Mike

James according to the 79 chassis manual the 125 & 175 use the same pipe, with one exception as an alternative 125 MC pipe with a small stinger and silencer. Mike
