Any one have a rattle can color for 1975 frames?  My old Penton mule needs new paint so anything close will work. Thanks Dave

Dave,
I originally had used Duplicolor DE1650 Ceramic Paint and Clear Coat, but now I use Duplicolor Lacquer DAL1679 silver metallic and Spraymax 2K 3680061 Urethane professional push button clear coat spray, which is more durable and gas resistant. Mike

I usually order the clear coat online. My local Napa or O'Reilleys carries the Duplicolor paints. Mike

Also duplicolor bgm 0540 light slate metallic is a good match.

Another very good option is Rustoleum Metallic Matte Nickel, with a clear topcoat, very good.

I have had good success with PJ1 paint, in the silver color.

I checked just now at Dennis Kirk and J&P Cycle - both no longer list any color except some black for frames and cases.

Does anyone have any insight into this? PJ1 used to list a whole variety of OEM color-matches (ie: Kawasaki green, etc.). Now they all seem to be gone?
