You can use a regular cap from a fiberglass tank. Just give it a quarter turn. I did that till I found flip top one.

  I have seen a cap on a Moto-Guzzi at Mid-Ohio that looked identical to the steel tanker cap.  You might want to check out ebay under Moto-Guzzi or Benelli gas caps.   Lee Buffenmyer
