Have the cylinder nicasil plated at the size you are at now.

more info Brian. The clearance is getting out of spec, mainly at the skirt area. piston starting to slap. Don't know how that works

Mickey Sergeant

I'm assuming then that wiseco didn't make oversized pistons then?

Kip Kern

Wiseco made .080 over, 50mm I believe.  Contact Bore Tech, vintage Wiseco Pistons.  100cc pistons are a dime a dozen, was giving them away 10 years ago as no one wanted a 100cc.  Or contact Jake Fischer, he still has tons of parts.  Good luck!

An iron liner can be nicasil coated right over the iron. It can not be coated thick enough to go down to 49mm but you can stay at 49.5mm forever.

Brian:
Who are you using for the nicasil?  Do you know how much it costs?
Thanks, Ted

I use Millennium Technologies. I have not had a cylinder plated in a while but it was about $200.
