Anyone have one?  I have a tire question. Bought new 205/75 14 tires D rated and they rub. Is this the correct size tire?  My old tires were this size but were a bit thinner. This is the first that I have a lot of weight in the trailer; about 2,200 pounds. Any thought or useful information that I am missing?

Just general info on trailer tires.  Trailer tires are a unique creatures.  As a rule I get the highest capacity tire that will safely fit on the trailer.  Keep the tires inflated to max pressure. I also upgrade to radials if the trailer is equipped with bias ply tires.  It is EZ to overload/abuse a trailer tire and you might be surprised how a little weight here and a little weight there can quickly add up.

and a rule of thumb:

Don't ever loan out your trailer and if you do check it out thoroughly if and when it returns.  I've seen more friends become enemies becuase of "borrowed" trailers coming home limping.

I agree with you Pete.  I bought really good tires, but unfortunately, the new tires are wider than the old ones. Now I need to find another tire brand that is not as wide as these.  I was hoping someone on the site could help me out with a model that works.
