Here's some preview info for the 7/29 AHRMA Vintage Enduro at McKee's Sky Ranch in beautiful Terra Alta WV. A round of the AHRMA John Penton/Preston Petty XC series.

> 180 rider limit...don't delay with your entry...
> 3 riders to a row, 60 rows max, drawing date is 7/14
> You do not need to be an AHRMA member to enter.
> About 65 ground miles, vintage bike friendly course, 30 minute break at gas stop about half way.
> Gas truck provided
> Traditional timekeeping format...secret checks to keep you on your toes!
> Speed average changes to match terrain, mileage resets to get riders back on time.
> A route sheet / time chart listing all "possibles" will be provided to all riders.
> Further info, entry blank, and complete Enduro Rules are posted on the AHRMA web site.
> A good weather request has been placed...

Will that really draw 180 riders?  Curious.

A few more things...

> Fred Hoess will be the event's Grand Marshall, and also start on #1A

> Bikes DO NOT have to be street legal...no plate, lights, horn, etc.

> Special awards for:
Vintage Class Champion
Post Vintage Class Champion
Grand Champion

Also...
If multiple riders wish to ride on the same row, you have 2 options:

1. All 3 pre-enter as normal.
Then send me an email with your names and I'll get them to our drawing czar. [email protected]

2. All 3 riders post enter together and ask to be on the next open row. This of course assumes that we have NOT yet reached our 180 rider limit and are "sold-out"!

What we CAN'T accomodate is a request by a pre-entry to "save" spots on their row for some friends coming as post-entries...

We might need check help...have her stop by Fri afternoon...

If you have a gas concern...bring a second small can...we'll figure out a way to get it to a pm half reset...like we did for Ted last year...
