'76 125 head fins VS '77 125 head fins

Any difference in the head fin configuration of a 76 125 and a 77 125? I'm piecing together a 77 125 GS6 using a 76 125 motor and am having a hard time fitting the exhaust. It fits the 77 frame routing fine but it hangs up on the left side head fins. I really don't want to trim the fins but I guess that's an option. Any suggestions?

Steve, assuming you're talking KTM engine, are you using the aluminum finned angled downward exhaust manifold? Mike
