Hi everyone my name is Phil (I'm a new member) I have always had a love of Pentons and I was finally able to buy a very nice 74 125 Six Days last year only needing tires and some final assembly (from what I can tell). I have a question: there is one loose not connected wire from the coil not sure where it goes or if its a ground?? The coil is a Motoplat(it says "Motoplat Electronico" on one side and "Converso" on other side)is it the right/correct coil?, it has a plug in at the top with 2 black wires(one of the 2 wires is the one not connected)there is a blue dot next to the 2 top wires, and a plug below with a single black wire going into the engine (magneto I'm guessing?)so one of the two black wires at the top of the coil (wider 2 wire plug)and the wire from the single plug in at bottom of the coil go down into the engine (magneto) leaving one of the two black wires at the top plug not connected. Any idea where that one of two black wires goes?? is it a ground?? I have a service manual but it makes no sense as it shows a single blue wire and a single black wire,  Any help would be greatly appreciated....

"Standard" wiring on the motoplat is the blue wire goes to the engine, the black wire to ground, and the double lug you speak of allows a kill switch connection, which should
be on the the blue wire, grounding out the signal the engine sends.
