I just picked up a 1976 KTM 250 MC5 that is in surprisingly decent shape, mostly there, except it has a broken frame (I took a picture this morning but forgot to bring my phone in to post.  But, it is one of the tubes in the rear near the airbox).  So, does anyone know someone in the Pittsburgh area who welds broken frames?  Thanks.

Nick this is a long shot.  Try calling Chris the owner of Thick Bikes on the South Side.  He started out as a custom Downhill mountain bike frame builder.  He's now entirely retail and more middle market I think.  I'm not certain that he ever personally did the welding.  Anyway he might point you to someone with an appreciation for precision frame welding if needed.  Good luck!  John
