difference in 73 -74 cases of a 175 to a 250

whats the diference if any in the cases and lower end. i got a line on one

I believe the crank circles are bigger on a 250 and the bolt pattern of the jugs are different, 250 being larger.  As far as I know, the cases won't interchange.
