250 Harescrambler pipes

I have a 1975 Harescrambler with the megaphone style, chrome tipped exhaust pipe.  Was this pipe used for enduro and MX racing?  I'd like to fit the style pipe with the smaller silencer that's slightly bulbous at the end but much smaller than the megaphone style.  Will it fit and what years was this smaller silencer used?

YOUR PIPE IS AN ENDURO PIPE. MX PIPES ARE HARD TO FIND. YOU MAY HAVE TO CUT YOURS AND WELD A STINGER ON IT OR GET AN AFTERMARKET PIPE.74-75 MX PIPES WERE THE SAME.I ALSO THINK A 76-77 MC5 PIPE COULD BE MADE TO WORK.IT HAS THE SAME ROUNDED SILENCER.
