1973 125cc Six Days Price Question

My brother-in-law found this bike at his Grandfathers, and wanted to restore it.  It is missing a few parts, and would need lots of work, so we were going to use the engine on a Go-Kart.  I just wanted to find out what this bike would be worth restored before I scrapped it - or maybe it would be worth it to sell the good parts off of it.  Thanks in advance.

There are differing degrees of restoration but a going Six Days will bring $600 to as high as $2500.  Condition-Condition- Condition.  That is the spread in price.  A parted out Six Days again variant on condition will in the end net between $400 and $1200.  Ebay and the hunt for good parts has made many not so great going Pentons to be worth more parted out than going. These are all from my experiences and is of course opinion.
