Pentons at WUDI 3 Last Weekend

Took my Six Day and Jack Piner to beautiful Hot Springs, AR last weekend to run the WUDI 3 event. It was kind of like our ISDT Reunion ride except for modern bikes. Guys from all over (Rhode Island, Minnesota, Texas, etc.) showed up for a three day ride in the woods. Andre Ming brought his Jawa and Zundapp from Oklahoma so I wouldn't be lonely amongst all the modern bikes. People took pictures of our bikes making comments like "I've heard of these, but never seen one". During one 25 mile loop, a certain 520 KTM couldn't keep up with my Jack Piner because the rider kept wiping out on the tight, muddy, mountainous course. His comments were "Boy, that old bike handles pretty good doesn't it?" I retorted, you bet, it's a PENTON!!!!" It was my first real ride on the Piner. Needless to say I loved it. Hooray for Pentons.
