I recently heard about the 73' ISDT  on a two wheel tues. One of the pog's said something about there being film of the event. Is that something that is available? Too bad espn or speed does not air more enduro events... maybe it would be more popular if they did. It would be fine with me if they aired more enduro's instead of all those reality shows or those "extreme sports" Or at least made them available to us mere mortals.

Thom,
Yes there are movies of the 73, 74 and 75 ISDT, Penton made them and they are on 16 mm film.  The films are a lot like us, old and worn. We will get the films put on VCR tape as soon as possible.  In the mean time be sure to watch the Bad Rock 73 tape that is available from Paul Stannard at Strictly Hodaka.  Lots of Penton action and great trail shots, along with some great banjo tunes!!! This movie was made at the 1973 Bad Rock ISDT qualifier in Oregon.  If you watch this movie watch for the Penton rider with a hammer in his hand at the start of the second day.

PS The trail was 416 miles of fun.
