aluminum to plastic fenders

I'm getting ready to get things in order to start the restoration of my 1973 125 6 day (vin 30464237). It has aluminum fenders. Will it go completely against the grain if I switch to plastic or are the aluminum ones even correct for that year? Also can anyone provide me with a photo of what the correct tailight should look like. I question the one on it. Thanks Jerry [email protected]

Rob W. can answer your questions on the fenders $ubtly of course.  The plastics are fine if thats the look you want.  As I stated before I think '73 had both styles of fenders(in my opinion).  Taillight, someone else can help you faster because I would have to look it on the brochure and compare it to what was being sold by HiPoint.
