New replacement parts listing

Can't recall if this has come up before, but I was reflecting on an earlier post about a database of repo parts and wondering whether anyone's discovered spare parts from current models that fit the older bikes.  

Surely there must be a piston or crank assembly from a current bike that can be gently hammered [:0] into a 73 model KTM... sorry, Penton , or what about sprockets, cables etc.?
